Gardening tips at the Silo Farm 🌱🐜🐜🐜 Leah has been having problems with stink bugs and ants in her planter box. Kiarah has some tips that can help!

The Silo Farm at Rouzan is a great amenity for our residents. It features seating areas, a fireplace, a cooking area with a commercial grade grill, a fully stocked garden shed, compost bins, and personal planter boxes available to rent. The farm is managed by Allison Guidroz with Fullness Farm She is out on maternity leave, and has brought in Kiarah to help! Kiarah harvests fruits and vegetables every Wednesday for the residents to pick up. She is also available to help with personal planter boxes. 🌱🥕🫐 Stop by to grab some fresh produce and say hi to Kiarah!

Meet Kiarah! 🌱 She is taking over for Allison (our farm manager) while she is out on maternity leave. She has been harvesting produce for the community every Wednesday and helping residents with their personal planter boxes. Yesterday’s Garden Club meeting was enjoyed with Susan Altares speaking about “Tips for Summer Gardening”. 🌞🌸 Many knew Susan, as she worked at Louisiana Nursery for many years. The Garden Club is for residents of Rouzan, and has no membership fee. The meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Silo Farm. Everyone brings their sack lunch, visits and learns about topics of great interest! Please join us next month! 🌱
